The lead singer from D:ream Peter Cunnah is set to judge Open Mic UK.
As an artist/producer he's sold in excess of 3 million records including 12 top 40 singles, two top 5 albums. He was the writer, producer and singer of all D:Reams' catalogue including the multiplatinum number 1 single "Things Can Only Get Better" , which was also chosen by New Labour as their 1997 election campaign song.
He's written and produced and remixed for various major label acts including Duran Duran, EMF, Debbie Harry, Melanie Willaiams, Steps, Allstars, The Honeyz and A1 to name a few

Some of the acolades he's received include a "Brit" nomination for "Best Song" and the Hot Press 1st prize for "Best Dance Act". Pete's been among other things a presenter on Top Of The Pops" an Ivor Novelo judge and even currently represents his home town of Derry in Northern Ireland as an embasador for its place as the European City of Culture.
He also helped compose music for the Japaneese Anime "Inuyasha", Rocket Movies "Women Talking Dirty" and more recently the Theme Tune to ITV'S hit series "Party Wars"
Peter continues to be a writer producer and singertoday - he sang lead vocals on Chicane's single "Love on the Run" and has recently, teamed back up with DJ Al Mackenzie for his third D:Ream studio album "In Memory Of..." (Fulfill Records) accompanied by a full UK tour that culminated in their recent headliner at Bug Jam.
