Judges at Cleckheaton included Bob Young, Dance choreographer, singer & performer Karen Corson, Real Radio’s Guy Harris and Future Music’s Chris Grayston.

Under 18's;

Beth Smith; solid start, watch timing as come in and face the audience more. Few flat notes but moments of good talent.

Courtney Gill; Well performed but vocals a bit rushed especially after big notes when used all her breath. Good vocals but needs to work on mic control.

Libby Rose; Lovely vocal and tone try to use more expression in the face. More performance or film yourself or perform in front of the mirror to perfect. Good attempt at a nice classical song.

Anya Lily; Great choice of song to cover, sounded better in sound check, nerves? Improved as the performance went on. Be careful not to shout the top notes.

Jenna Shingleton; Performed it well try to feel the music as on occasions come across a little over rehearsed rather than natural so rehearse doing it naturally too if that makes sense.

Abigail Cook; Wow for 10! Against some more experienced performers today may come up a little short but that doesn’t take anything away from a strong performance which will improve in time. Great effort.

Chanda; Liked the idea of the image, the rapping was at times a ramble. Great look, great confidence, performance was hard to understand work on diction.

Finesse; Well worked piece including tasteful image. Good image but need to harmonise more as a group.

Jaydee; Nice playing, going to need to write his own stuff if going down the acoustic route. Practice and experience.

Jessi Jane; Nice tone and made the vocal her own very enjoyable performance. Would like to see her sing something with more punch!

Kasia Howley; Very natural performer. Hopefully do a more contemporary number for the area final as sailed through today. Excellent vocals, good image.

Kirsty Louise White; Looked great image matched song choice which is great but would have liked to have seen something more modern. Good stage performer and powerful vocal range.

Laura Johnson; Combated through the nerves to give a very authentic performance. Emotional and rich vocal. Needs to work on polishing vocals but image was good.

Lizzie Hogan; Great vocal seemed very quick which is a sign of an enjoyable performance. Will be excellent with more training.

Lorna Bishop; Pays to pick a less obvious cover. Great delivery of song and good image.

Olivia Coe; Looked great accessorising brilliantly to give a vibrant image, same point pick a less obvious cover. looked a little nervous.

Gabriella Lindley; West end shows? Great for that lovely voice but maybe not this competition. Good voice but needs to work on confidence.

Girlz, Girlz, Girlz; Great choice of second song and well put together routine vocally at times need to concentrate on all the vocals not just chorus and lead lines have same conviction to adlibs and whole vocal. A performance well beyond their years.

Mellia; Vocally the tightest of the vocal groups in the show again a polished  and strong routine. Fab image but abrupt change over in song.

Hollie Barker; What an improvement from auditions when only just got through, keep working on the performance and come up with something different with the image to synch with a song choice and who knows.

CAESER; Strong performance watch the shouting of vocals give each other the space in the song. Confident, good stage presence but need to work on harmonising with each other.
