Open Mic UK Singing Competition 2010 Finalists Plan To Top The UK Charts

Open Mic UK singing competition Grand Finalist; SHIMM1 and Area Finalist; Geneology have joined forces to record a single for charity, after a chance meeting in Dewsbury during one of the Open Mic UK Area Final heats.

SHIMM1; a West Midlands native, and Geneology; an East Midlands rap group - have decided to collaborate on the B-side of SHIMM1's new single, which is called; 'In 3D'
 
The B-side of SHIMM1's single - has not been named yet and both artists have agreed to keep the track name a secret ,until closer towards the release date, to build up some extra anticipation amongst both sets of fans.
 
JP from Geneology says "we're very excited about the single and Geneology will bring our own flavour to the table, and we will make sure that the B-side is a track that people will want to listen to again and again"
 
The single; 'In 3D' and the B-side (feat. Geneology) will be released on Monday 23rd May as a digital download via
www.shimm1.com and every penny will be going to the Wolves Community Trust' charity. 
 
The 'Wolves Community Trust' charity is associated with the Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club, who are getting right behind SHIMM1 to make sure the single is a success.

Both Geneology and SHIMM1 showed fantastic talent and performance skills in the 2010 Open Mic UK singing competition, and this is a collaboration set for success in the future
