Judges Feedback From The Ipswich Live Show, 18 - 25's Category
This weekend the judges were in Ipswich! Thousands of acts entered Open Mic UK this year and some of the best unsigned acts in the country took to the stage at the Corn Exchange on 23.10.10 Here the judges give us some feedback from the event, but remember, it could all change at the Area Finals!

Judges at Ipswich included Jenny Lock from Love Music 24, Rupert Matthews, Han Roberts, Steve Hawthorne, Libby Williamson, Jennie Cassidy
18-25's;
Emma Crowther: Didn’t really feel the passion through the performance, sorry. Very confident but needs more work on vocals.
Joshua O’Connor: Music and image a little out of synch. Nice melody but needs more work on delicate parts of the song.
NSPYA: Sounded authentic...judges didn’t know whether it was a cover or original as didn’t inform organisers.... Great stage ownership
Chloe Fulcher: Need to perform in front of a mirror to soften facial expressions. Looked uncomfortable on stage.
Ed Goodsell: Vocals break on occasions, could have sounded sweeter, liked the image.
Chloe Oliver: Think performance from the start, even if no singing parts. Didn't perform the song with conviction.
Rayon Cotterell: Bit of a wobbly start on the guitars which continued, spoilt what could have been. Confident performance.
Emily Sleigh-Johnson: Strong vocals supported well on keys. Need to think of a stand out image. Very breathy, fantastic piano support.
Jade Brown: Need to move from the spot, try and move arms with purpose. Good choice of cover. Need to use the stage
Tom Ryder: Nice original, very rhythmatic.
Jade Grand: Strong vocal would have liked to have heard something more contemporary. Nice, simplistic performance.
Callum Friend: Voice has really matured, not sure what the dancer coat collector was all about? Tight performance.
Lauren Simpson: Performance needed some more Red Bull! Show the emotion! Good image, confident performance.
Greg Weller: Similar to audition, started with a bang but fizzled, need to sustain... Best entertainer on stage so far, but out of tune.
Tasha Heard: Vocal strong, would like something from image and/or performance to stand out. Wonderful but was your pronunciation on some words.
Nathan Zion & Alec Crafter: Sympathetic guitar enhances vocals, star quality here.
