Judges at Bedford included Vocal Tutor and tutor for Vidla Christine Evans, Vocalist Sammi Vaughan, from Vocal tutor Jules Pretorious along with Future Music’s Chris Grayston.
18-25's;
James Lorimer; Long way from the mic and engage more with the audience, but fantastic and energetic performance.
Larissa Rose; Nice vocals a change in dynamics could have made it even better. Work the stage more.
Aveta Chen; Best bet is not to turn up 2 hours late twice. But great performance and connection with the audience.
Vicky Scrase; Good intense performance but remember to work that stage and body language.
Adele Shillingford; Vocally very tidy, could have launched the vocal to a different level going up another octave to give greater dynamics. Worked the stage well.
Beth Charles; Quirky voice, great song. Distinctive.
Chris McLoughlin; Didn’t flow as it should guitar was lagging the vocal ability.Nice interaction with the audience, you are a great entertainer.
Bronwyn Waller; Great, lively performance
Jessica Woodhouse; She had fun but needs to have more conviction and hit all those notes on the money. Work on diction and breathing.
John Harper; seemed to meander without purpose at times for someone who has a lot of ability could have been so much stronger. Great voice, but slightly quiet at times.
Leah Jade; maybe worth working on the expressing when singing. Watch mic doesn’t wave about too much too. Good image.
Morgan Willis; Keep focused throughout the track to back up the powerful vocals and give the low notes after as much attention. Perform with more conviction and confidence!
Lizzy Humphreys; Lovely vocals, really engaging. Work on phrasing.
Louise Hill; Gorgeous vocals and confidence, great song writer.
Mierous Hennessy; Don’t forget to engage fully with the audience at the back of the stage too much. Dynamics could be better very much on the same level for too long. Very good image.
Natalie Small; Use the stage more. Lovely song choice, well done on vocals.
Phyllicia Salmon; Nice voice looked a bit mad with her expressions and too much swaying rather than working the stage. Brilliant presence and body language.
Mikey Cartwright; Worked the stage well, good vocals, think about creating an image. You have a good voice - forget the nerves!
Ginnie; Great choice of song which really helped to the enjoyment of the performance. Performance needs to improve bit static.
Jaymi Hensley; Very strong vocal and made the cover his own want to see more of this guy! Engaging.
Meera; Lovely piano backing absolutely nailed it. Loved the vocals and the emotion that went into them.
