Talent Competition Bristol Feedback

Maddie Bowe – Nice song which was performed well! Good image and technically very strong. Perhaps repeat the chorus line to make more of a hook to the song.

Charlie WoodgateGood potential but power isn’t everything be careful with the pitching as that let you down.

Francesca Scott – original song was good, needs a little more confidence and focus on guitar technique.

Blessing B’Joux – Good song need to watch guitar tuning, would have been better served performing without it.

Taylor Darby – Lovely choice of song, looked nervous, make sure you warm up fully to ensure you are on point with hitting the top notes.

Rebecca Jones– Lovely signing, engagement and playing, perhaps now look to play with songs to give better dynamics and more sophistication to the songs.

Florence – Common trend, strong vocals but need to think more about the look.

Phoebe Pierce – Will come good but needs to combat nerves. More performance and practice will build confidence.

Ellie Higgs – Lovely voice try and pick a less obvious song for the shows. Amy Winehouse is being performed a lot!

Molly Emmerson – Warming up is essential to hit the top notes or pick a song that fits your range better as have a lovely tone to your voice.

Ellis Chick – Very charismatic, good voice, well rehearsed and performed just need to take care to make sure comes across natural rather than too staged.

Eloise Dunnglasson – Remember to look just above your audience to help focus and the nerves rather than potentially being put off by expressions from your audience.

Rachel Tooze – Good voice pick a less obvious song than Amy Winehouse.

Talent Competition Bristol, Further Feedback

Emily Rose – Well acted, make sure image is considered for character, more could be made of this.

Naomi Whitehead – Need to construct a hook in the song. Song comes across very desperate so perhaps work on the dynamics to give contrast.

Beth – Lovely voice needs to open her eyes and not hold her stomach.

Sophie Mendoza – Picky point but earrings may well get picked up and amplified by the mic so would avoid jangly jewellery

Alex Marcky – Distinctive sound but needs to make the vocals more distinguished with better dynamics and project more.

Empror – Good performance don’t forget to engage your audience.

Aron – Loved it! Needs a little more passion in the delivery.

Rachel Lea – Good engagement, tone and projection.

Hilary Pavey – Lovely sentiment to the song.

Noel Walker – Needed to project more with the vocal.

Okwonde – Good song just need to perform to the song and engage. Would suggest working on this and will do well. Perhaps film yourself and/or practice in the mirror.

AYS – Very likeable, catchy song with a good vibe. Pick of the day!

Ben & Jason – Liked the vocals but need to work on image.

Aimee Marchant – Good voice but watch breathing to focus on both high and low notes.

Steven Ley – Great song to finish the day.
