Talent Competition Essex - Industry Feedback for singers at Open Mic UK Basildon, Essex auditions
Talent competition in Essex, Open Mic UK, has provided Industry feedback for singers at Basildon in Essex auditions. Singing auditions in Essex saw more than 300 auditioning in front of the Open Mic industry experts. Judges included vocal coaches, music journalists and A&R managers. The talent competition feedback on selected acts can be seen below.

Talent Competition Essex Feedback
Clarice Parrott – Lovely start to the auditions super voice just need to bring in a little more soul and emotion.
Kayleigh Clayton– Think posture and performance as posture is poor at the minute.
Fern Teather– Nice singing take care with diction.
Zac Hurst – Lovely connection with the audience.
Stacy Adams - Lovely smile which is good to bring through when performing.
Natasha Kurash – Need to unfold your arms and add performance.
Dana Ali – Very nice tone and projection with a distinctive raspy voice, very good quality and sound.
General note– Some great voices but a real lack of performance from a lot auditioning.
Brooke Moore– Nerves got the better of the performance, more practice and performance in front of people is required.
Callum Rafferty– Nice voice and lovely tone just take care with the guitar work.
Zac Hurst– Very well structured and catchy song.
Vanessa Machor– Watch your breathing it ended up being very monotonous.
Chelsea Stride – Nice head voice but projection was timid you need more confidence.
Sophie Nickson– Lovely rich tone to your voice. Bring chorus and hook in earlier.
Alex Smitherman– Bring some more dynamics to the song to bring it alive.
Emily Heidreich– Song choice way stretched the ability of your vocals, pick a song that’s not going to put yourself under so much pressure.
United Solo– A little more punch in the performance and this will be a strong act in the competition.
Noami Omudreh– Really catchy song loved the lyrics, great song, great voice.

Danielle Scharpf– Loved the soul in the song.
Sinead Mallen- Watch guitar tuning.
Daniel Doherty– Good voice but also a good impression, so perhaps need to change a little to make more unique.
Soraya Russell– Really good vibe to the original, Loved it!!
Arthur Spire– Needed to project vocals more.
Sparz– Need to perform the introduction to what went into a real catchy and well put together song.
Michael Cassidy– Nerves took over the performance, practice as much as you can in public to get used to performing to others.
Laura Kelly– Never stop in a performance always blag it.
Black Storm Sound– Super harmonies.
David Rishey– Watch guitar tuning.
