Grab your chance to attend a master class with RnB star Shola Ama as Open Mic UK music competition in conjunction with sponsor the Institute, are announcing a vocals and song writing Master Class with her. Shola’s debut album ‘Much Love’ sold over one million copies and she enjoyed chart success with the top five singles ‘You Might Need Somebody’ and ‘You’re The One I Love’. The culmination of her critical and commercial success resulted in four MOBO nominations with Shola going on to collect two awards for Best Newcomer and Best RnB. She also impressed the industry and her fans when she was nominated for two Brit awards, taking home the title of Best British Female. This is going to be a fantastic masterclass!

As part of our continued UK music development policy, we can offer the chance to apply to take part in exclusive master classes to regional finalists of this year’s competition for free. Please check your availability before applying, as it is held at the Institute in London on 26th September 2011.
This course won’t be applicable to all of you, but further courses will become available in the near future. Before confirming please make sure you can definitely attend the date and venue in London. Please also note classes will be awarded on a first come, first served basis.
