Talent Competition Portsmouth and SouthamptonFeedback
James and Hazel – Nice tone but harmonies could have been more interesting. Pitching was off in places so will need to tighten there.
Crystal Cooper – Good projection opens up well, relax more on phrasing and work on head voice.
James and Hazel – Good harmonies but more confidence required. James needs more support and needs to work on projection and voices are too soft for this song.
Amber – Once settled flowed well from a shaky start so hit it with impact for the shows. Harmonies are good, work on dynamics and projection. Good potential need to happy or edge up and work on stage presence.
Ellie Earl – Has a nice tone and vibrato, needs to project more and be clearer with diction. Also think image to reflect the material.
Lauren Harrison – I think the song is a bit too low for you, needs more support it is dragging a bit so develop technique. Very nervy, practice as much as you can to overcome nerves showing in public performances.
Harry Sykes – Good voice and performance but maybe required to do something more contemporary pop for the shows rather than musical.
Molly Skyes – Best 8 year old seen in auditions this year. Focus on the words. Good control and very confident.
Jade Bunyan – Strong voice but watch your tuning use more support in your upper range.
Alice Tilbury – Don’t look at the floor when singing, nice tone and unique voice but work on projection which is starting to be a common theme today.
Sophie Hughes – Nice voice and you look lovely. Needs to work on vocal technique song too low in places song choice didn’t suit your vocal.
Cara Tolley – Song too big, needs a softer song something you are going to be more comfortable with.
Zoey Hall – Try to connect with the emotion of the song, careful of keeping the pitch.
Franschesca Reed – Good pronunciation, very clear and good projection. Think about image to reflect the song.
