Talent Competition Newcastle Feedback

Lucy Curry – Wrong song choice for voice. Nerves won the day.

Charlotte Lewis – Felt the song which was nice and made it her own. Needs more performance from body rather than just her arms.

Adam Hodgkinson – Decent performance tried to make it his own but lost his way a little near the end.

Christian Chomse – Missed a few notes but good stage performance. Confidence is a good quality to have.

Tara Richardson – Strong image could have been more expansive in vocal range but a solid performance.

Grace Taylor-Clarke – Poor song choice, pick something that’ll make you stand out it’s so overdone. Needed more performance.

Jamie Welch – Take your hands out of your pockets! A bit casual to begin with. Big voice though!

Sky Costelbe – Great image and a good voice. Original. Like it!

Jolene Jarvis – Pick a more original song to stand out. Try to control nerves.

General note – Adele’s Someone Like You is so overdone and not a great song for audition! Build up is too slow.

The Peppermints – Very cute but work on harmonies should be more given there is 5 of you.

Evie Plumb – Nice original song and good range in voice.

Shannon Mares – Well choreographed. Decent song and a good performance.

Louise Devlin – Adele again! A bit crokey. Maybe needed to warm up vocal chords beforehand. Nice style but work on breath.

Ashleigh Walker – Warm up properly and avoid nerves. Song too big for her.

Jess Wilson – One of the best of the day so far. Image, voice, performance.

Tom Hall – A bit of a clichéd image and performance. Needs to work on originality. Has a decent voice.
