Singing Opportunity Bristol Feedback – 23 and over category
Neville William - Always difficult to open the show and a decent voice, but perhaps a different song may have suited your vocal range?
Samantha Lindo – Very brave to sing without backing track or accompaniment, but delivered beautifully. Beautiful voice and glamorous. Clear sense of performance.
Adam Lovell – Good delivery on the whole, but try to find a look which suits you. Not quite enough today but some promise evident.
Aimee – A fun performance but just a little too much… Felt you tried too hard which became detracting. Again, some potential here with a little stage coaching.
Original BF - Like the name! Good ideas and very honest approach to rectifying mistake. Clearly musical, and interesting use of loops, but not quite enough tonight.
Ali – Vocally convincing and established, but seemed lost when not singing. Aim for greater all round stage presence and command. Comfortable, but lacking the X-factor….
Clyde Meredith - Better vocals on cover, and good energy with original track. An ‘A’ for effort, but performance did not captivate unfortunately. (Liked the off stage dancing – added something)
Libby - A lot of effort has gone into this! Creative stage entrance and a considered delivery and backing, but package did not did not quite fit the image.
Hokyung Kim – Nice guitar playing and held the audience well, plus the delivery improved as it progressed. A lot of talent here….
Singing Opportunity Bristol – Further Feedback
Kwende – First song was great! Good rhythmic rapper and like the performance. Easily top half and should get through tonight.
Sabrina – Great Image! Harmonics worked well and engaged with the audience. Scored well with the judges.
Lisa Carlisle – Lovely voice and open energy performance. Watch image though….Overall, the judges opinion was split but lots of very positive aspects.
Ray Lannon – Excellent! Love the image as well. Really enjoyed the stage craft and experience on display. Bags of charisma…
Claire – Mostly comfortable, but needs more experience on stage. Not the strongest tonight but certainly not the worst.
Steve Ley – Good stage presence, and enjoyed medley too. The Image worked and good all round package. Needs to move to the next level in the next round though.
A-J Fitz – Good originality and clever lyrics. Enjoyed it… (Rapping is stronger than singing).
Vanessa – Passionate performance, and great vocal, but didn’t think the musicians were the best support unfortunately. This aspect gave a certain character, but ultimately could detract. Honest and reliable delivery.
