The Open Mic UK Music competition: Judges feedback from Liverpool live final, over 25's
The UK's largest talent competition for singers and songwriters travelled to Liverpool this week in the ongoing hunt for talent.
Thousands of acts entered Open Mic UK this year and some of the best unsigned acts in the country took to the stage at the Liner Hotel on 07.11.10.
Here the judges give us some feedback from the event, but remember, it could all change at the Area Finals!
Please note: views expressed by Judges are opinions and in no way reflect the views of Open Mic UK.
Judges at Liverpool were: Phillip Whittam from Liverpoolclubbing.com; Laura Adams, from the thesingingteacher.biz; Su Grainger from the British Voice Association; Kathryn Dion-King, Northern songwriter of the year and professional singer Karen Corson.

George Simpson: Good voice and image. Need to smile more and avoid the vocal veering towards ‘shouty’ in places! Overall a confident and charismatic show.

Lotzie Weaver: Great performer, hilarious and witty lyrics but lost on audience. Nice performance and good image.
Eden Vernett Showers: Great voice, crowd loved it and was very charismatic. Need to control power behind vocals more to avoid being shouty.

Emma Wells: Good voice, nice image and a strong performance. Well done for going on without backing at the last minute.
