Unsigned Musicians Sheffield Feedback – 16 and under category

Ebonie Preston – Nice start to the show. Strong voice and guitar playing. Good original song. Confident performer.A real talent.

Amber – Sweet voice.Would have liked to have heard her with an accompanying guitar.A confident performance.

Arisxander Libantino – A pocket rocket! Great voice. Perfect vocals a star in the making! Perhaps she could develop the song more though rather than giving everything so early on.

Bethany Holmes – An overdone song choice. It’s hard to stand out when you do an Adele song. Beautiful tone and pitch.

Alec Hewstone – A nervous start. Pleasant voice. A safe song choice that didn’t challenge his vocals as much as I’d have liked. He has potential.

Charlotte Branson – Nice song choice and well delivered. Vocals got better as she went along.

Elizabeth Whitehead – Not sure if the dancers added anything slightly distracting. Hit some good notes but didn’t quite make the key change as big as it could have been.A moving performance.

Emily–Big song to take on but good vocals when needed. Just needed to feel the song more and work the stage. Conveyed the emotion of the song well.

Holly Cooke – Didn’t look like she was enjoying being out there. Get a guitar player next time to add another dimension. Try to develop a persona on stage. Grew in stature as the song went on.

Holly Fallon – Not the most inspirational song choice. Leaves the vocals vulnerable to nerves showing. Great image just needs vocal coaching to refine.Overall an assured performance.

Jade Wilkinson – Looked scarred at the back of the stage come forward. Great vocals though. Work on developing a unique style to help you stand out.

Nance – Best image of the day she looks the part. Big voice but would have preferred an acoustic guitar to bring out the voice more. Guitar messy in places and be careful of an American accent creeping in.Nice to hear original material.

Unsigned Musicians Sheffield – Further Feedback

Lauren –Looked nervous but performed well. Should have stepped up the tempo at some point to show versatility. Nice texture to her voice.

Leanne Fotheringham – A great performer just be careful of Americanisation. Great rapping, great singing, I like this girl. Sang the song with real meaning.

Lizzie ParsonsLacklustre song choice makes it hard to stand out. Lizzie has a confident and relaxed voice.

PippaCrossland – She has the cute factor but nerves showed a little in vocals. It was always going to come down to that big note and sadly she missed it. But overall a good performance.A brave attempt keep singing.

Ruth Copeland – Brought variety to the show. Well acted out but flat in places. Hit a large note at the end which made the performance. Not quite there yet but overall a sassy performance.

Victoria – Grew in confidence as she got through the song. Well controlled with good with good delivery.

Vicky Turner – Great edgy image. Great take on cover song. Take the mic off the stand and work the stage to add another dimension. Vocals need a little work but overall good.

Zenani Work the stage and feel the song more. She has an adult voice in a small body. Brilliant!

The guest act for the day was Lucy Spraggan, who treated the crowds to brilliant performances of her upbeat and original music.
