The Hallucinogenics– Need to rethink the image completely. Work on the chemistry because you are good rappers.
Simon Bond– A very good version of Phantom of the Opera. Not quite strong enough vocally but a good performance.
BrS Bidlow– Nice to hear an original song. Delivered it well but needed to use the stage better.
Hussnain Muhammad– Nice performance and vocals but lacked originality and wow factor.
Martin Poole– Lovely vocals so easy to watch and listen too. Could improve image though.
Mike Lomax– Great performance. Strong rapping and chemistry with audience was good. Good song choice.
The Minister’s Cat– A very good Edinburgh duo. Nice performance. Love these two!
Dominique – Great song choice and a great look. Hated the backing track but a good performance.
Eli Cripps– Excellent. Has a future. She looks so comfortable on stage. Maybe use the stage better next time.
Kristina Castellina– A very ‘cruise ship’ performance. Great styling and loved the look. Missed a few notes though.
Tom Fearon– Be a bit more daring with your vocals. Lacked climatic moments.
Kirsty Barber– Can’t fault her on her passion and energy. Not sure she really nailed the song though.
Donna Taylor– Consider changing the key as it was too low. Need to think about your chords and timing.
Manchester’s best Unsigned Singers – Further Feedback
Wheres Dan– Very original. Liked the idea of accompaniment but not sure it worked. Liked the Mancunian accent!
Phia– Great voice. She looks like a star. She needs to loosen up on stage though and use the whole area.
Scott Mac– Great delivery and good song. Fabulous voice and he looked like he enjoyed the performance.
Penny Mac– Fabulous sexy voice. Works the stage well and nice vocals but needs to update the image
Hip Hop Disciples– Talented group with good chemistry and stage presence. Vocal performance a bit one dimensional though
Amy Lovae– Pitchy and also shouty at times. Nice vocals though she’s quite a natural performer.
Joe Langton– Didn’t seem to get going. Boring song choice needed something with more of a backbeat. Great image.
Stephanie Crook– Got a great stage presence. Very watchable with great vocals. She’d make a good jazz singer.
The guest act for the day was Hatty Keane, who treated the crowds to brilliant performances.
