Semblance – Good harmonies. Very likeable and a good cover choice but it could have had a bit more impact.Loved the original song too. Both have nice voices.
Bible of Beatz – Not sure about the original song but overall well done, a good performance. Just work on timing, it’s all important in rapping.
Juanita Fountain – A professional and polished performance but the image and song choice were dated. Update it for the next round and you have a good chance.
Martin Hall – I like this guy but the song felt like a bit of a generic blues number. Your not American please be conscious of the accent in vocals. Well done!
Melissa T Lanorio – Could hear the nerves in her inflection. Not the best song choice, it’s hard to stand out with a ballad. Learn to relax more.
Unsigned Music Newcastle – Further Feedback
Michael Whitwell – Flat vocals. Work the stage more. The act needs something unique. You didn’t look like you enjoyed the experience. Good voice but no stage presence.
Rachel Bambrough Mate – Very provocative and well choreographed. Well rehearsed. Should have picked a more up to date song though this is very dated.
Janine Andrews – Strong vocals but the performance lacked sparkle and originality. Feel the song more and engage with the audience. Work on image and presence.
John Villegas – Such a likeable performer. Don’t make the act too clichéd you have something good but be edgy as well to avoid a stereotypical sound.
The guest act for the day was Hatty Keane, who treated the crowds to brilliant performances.
