Unsigned Music Hampshire – Feedback for 17-22 category singers
Melo- Well prepared girls! Great attempt at unison and overall you scored well across the judges. Singing blended well and a very good opening act.
Annie Youngs– Enjoyed this – Good shape, expression and a nice voice. Guitar support worked well. You need to work on your image though Annie....
Fred Tomlinson– Liked the confidence and audience interaction at the beginning, and thought your voice was solid. It also suited your style. For me you did well, but overall, you split the judges.....
Jojo- Excellent ! Stylistic, commercial and strong technically. Performed with some authority. Will go through today quite easily.
Alfie Ordinary– Very Interesting and highly original, but a number of technical weaknesses which detracted slightly. The general consensus is that you are clearly a performer with a future but overall marks were split across the judges
Genevieve Arkle– A lovely voice but your song choice could have been more appropriate for you. (Just a little light stylistically). Try to find you own style and genre strengths.
Andy Muscat– Great sound and image plus liked the original material. Keep working on stage craft and audience engagement.
Kate Fletcher– Nice tone / timbre / range – would like to see her again.
Chantene Hamilton– Good potential...started well but felt it lost energy as it progressed.
Henry Adams– Shades of Alan Price in there. Sang and played well together, and enjoyed the original. The link between the two songs could have been a little slicker, top half performance overall.
Unsigned Music Hampshire - Further Feedback
Isobel Thatcher– Nice voice and energy on stage – enjoyable performance. Keep working on vocal training – some of the lyrics were not completely clear.
Ollie and Sam– Enjoyed the musicality and the song choice was good. Original was great. Very upbeat and cahon-tastic! Best in show!
Sham– Good presentation and staging has been thought through – well done! Now aim to develop your confidence to really move to the next level....
Mille Hopkins - Think about image as a group and consider standing to perform to allow you more movement. Lovely voice and overall sound.
The guest act for the day was Fdot1, who treated the crowds to brilliant performances of his original upbeat hip hop.
