Live Music Surrey and North Hampshire – Feedback for 23 and over category singers

Chantelle Dewar– All in all a good performance but there is work to be done, in particular don’t over push the vocal and thus suffered with pitch.

Andrew Youngman– Verbally you are engaging with the audience but physically not, almost like you’re on auto pilot.

Max Pahlsson– Distinctive voice with a great vocal melody, amazing guitar control with one of the strongest voices of the day.

Kellie Williams– Another strong voice, use the stage more, didn’t feel the connection to the song, just a great voice but with no performance so need to work on that.

Tania K– Watch the vocal control, when on the money sounds great but waivered too often.

Startah– Strong performance, used the stage well, engaged well with the audience and conveyed the song excellently. Tidy the end which needs an edit.

Kate Laming– Good voice demonstrating a wide vocal range just try to vary around the expression and the performance a little as using too much of the similar arm gestures which makes it a little repetitive.

Live Music Surrey and North Hampshire – Further Feedback

Martin Oliver– Watch mic control didn’t help with the flow. Didn’t feel like it got going although clearly has bundles of talent.

Karen Norris– Made a difficult song effortless with an enjoyable performance but needed to perform something a little more modern.

Fin– Impressive original song with great vocal melody just need to project better.

Tariro MarivadzeAcapella is very brave and in a way not showing the song to its best potential. But Tariro has a great voice and held the audience well which isn’t easy.

Christine Davies- A solid performance which lacked a little originality though. Find your true identity to back up your lovely vocals.

The guest act for the day was Danica Hunter, who treated the crowds to brilliant performances of his original upbeat hip hop.
