Singing contests in Liverpool, such as the Open Mic UK singing competition,have discovered the best unsigned singers in the region.

The Liverpool 2011 Regional Finals of the singing contest were held on Sunday 6th November at The Liner Hotel in Liverpool. The Regional final of the competition brought together the best unsigned singers from the North West all competing in a bid to make it to the Area Finals. The competition was fierce, and the standard was extremely high, well done to all the singers for putting on a great show!

With so much talent it was difficult to make the decisions, but well done to the following acts who have progressed to the Area Final on 4^th December 2011 from Liverpool. Judges feedback will be posted on the website for acts to view shortly. Filmed footage of the performers will be  viewable when uploaded on the Open Mic UK MUZU channel.

There is one more place up for grabs in the Area Final which the remaining acts from Liverpool can now compete for. The wildcard vote is now open, so get voting for your favourite to help them win that final spot!

The guest act for the day was Hatty Keane, who treated the crowds to brilliant performances of her upbeat and original music.

Singing contests Liverpool publicity

As well as places in the area final, there were exposure awards for publicity up for grabs, and the prizes were £250 worth of recording studio time with Open mic UK regional studio partners Bling Studios. Well done to all acts who gave some good publicity for themselves and especially well done to the following who have won themselves studio time asthe exposure awards winners.

All acts are competing to make it to the Grand Final at The O2 on January 21^st2012.
