Music competition in Wales, London and South West - Judges Feedback
Kimmy Reader;
Good stage presence and nice voice, needs to work on maintaining eye contact. Judges were split on song choice, but likened you to Ellie Goulding, well done.
Jasmine Thompson;
Amazing performance given your young age, will be a strong talent in the future with a bright music career ahead of you, judges thought you’d be great in a west end show.
Becky Wixon;
Lovely voice and presence, a passionate performer, needs a bit of work on diction, liked the song but needed something catchier.
Alexandra Richards;
Loved your original song, but think you chose the wrong cover, good guitar skills, keep practicing to perfect it.
Chloe Canrom;
Amazing voice, good performance and enviable vocal control, however your cover wasn’t original enough and need to move around less on stage as it can be distracting.
Oliver Mascarenhas;
Charisma by the bucketload! Great original, but the drastic change from backing track to acoustic in your cover meant the songs didn’t flow together. One to watch for the future.
Erris Major;
Lovely voice and great control, needs to work on guitar skills and interaction with audience, great emotion in your singing.
Danielle Mullins;
Strong performance with great vocal emotion and nice voice. Brave song choice but you made it your own, a joy to listen to!
Rebecca James;
Great voice and a lovely performance, although you need to work on connecting to your audience, very talented young lady, but be careful on those long vocal notes!
Sophie Cooke;
Great performance, nice voice and well thought through and executed act, captivating performance all round. Must remember to look at the audience, otherwise you lose that vital emotional connection!

The judges loved your voice, but you seemed uncomfortable and lacking in confidence, which is a shame because you were very good!, definitely talented, just needs to work on stage presence.

Looked like a star, nice voice but needs to work on overcoming nerves, your original was excellent, the judges thought you’d be great in a band.

Relaxed and professional performer, vocally fantastic control and dynamics, obvious natural talent, will be amazing with more performing experience.
Danica Hunter;
Confident with lots of charisma, knew your song and your style well and it came across in your performance – good stage presence, an all-round solid vocalist. Great cover.
Taylor Crosby;
Loved your use of the stage, but be careful to maintain clarity in your vocal and also the connection with the audience. Good voice and a unique act. Well done.

Entertaining performer, good physicality on stage but be careful with Mic control, as it can affect your volume and overall sound.
Maya;
Judges loved your original, nice voice and a definite talent.
Georgia Miller;
Nice voice, but the song choice was too big for you vocally, a bit of training will sort out any shakiness, but an overall emotional and engaging performance.

Wow. Your song choice was huge, and your voice was beyond its years but you managed to pull it off, good vocal control and amazing delivery, very, very talented.

Confidence was an issue, which was a shame as your voice and performance was lovely, keep practicing and it’ll come in time.
