London Live Music Competition - Results from the Area Final!
London live music competitions, such as the Open Mic UK singing competition,have discovered the best unsigned singers in the region.
The 2011 Area Finals of the live music competition in London were held on Sunday 20th November at the Beck Theatre in Hayes. The Area Final brought together the winners from the Cardiff, Bristol and Hayes Regional Finals, all competing in a bid to make it to the Grand Final in January at The O2. The live music competition was fierce and the standard was extremely high, well done to all the singers for putting on a great show!
With so much talent it was difficult to make the decisions, but well done to the following acts that have progressed to the Grand Final on the 21st January at The O2. Footage of the winners below is viewable on the Open Mic UK MUZU channel.
There is one more place up for grabs in the Grand Final which the remaining acts from Hayes can now compete for; the wildcard voteis now open and footage for the acts can be seen on MUZU, so get voting for your favourite to help them win that final spot!
The guest act for the day was Hatty Keane, who treated the crowds to brilliant performances of her upbeat and original live music in London.

Live Music Competition in London publicity
As well as places in the area final, there were exposure awards for publicity up for grabs, and the prizes were £250 worth of recording studio time with Open Mic UK regional studio partners Arcadium Studios and Stuart Epps. Well done to all acts who gave some good publicity for themselves and especially well done to the following who have won themselves studio time as the exposure awards winners.

The winning acts from the Hayes Area Final showcase will now be performing at the Grand Final against the winners from the remaining four Area Finals, on 21st January at The O2, London. Come along and see the best unsigned talent from across the UK!
All acts are competing to make it to the Grand Final at The O2 on January 21st 2012.
