Music competition awards winners

Laura P; Annie Nightingale; Very heartfelt, but not new. Shola Ama; Nice tone on the piano. Could use more crowd interaction. Pete Cunnah; Astonishing voice and writing talent. I love your work! Astonishing! Michael King; Great voice, needs styling. E Plus; Laura sings very well but I would have preferred less ad libs and more melody. Very talented nevertheless. Ben Price; Encapsulating. Really engaging performer.

Harri Georgio; Annie Nightingale; Professor Green-esque. Good original beats. Shola Ama; Good star quality and bad boy edge. Could be great with the right songs. Pete Cunnah; Can’t help but wonder what a year on the road would do to you. Seriously good! Michael King; Like him. E Plus; Most of the performance he was at the back of the stage. Very energetic though. Semper Azeez Harris; He’s got the swagger and drops his own tracks in there too. He could make it. Ben Price; Really good performance Harri. Timings to perfection. Really surprised me today.

Charlotte Oram; Shola Ama; Strong voice, could’ve dressed up a bit more. Good original though. Pete Cunnah; If it doesn’t happen as an artist you will make it as a writer. Wicked! Michael King; Good artist. E Plus; I can’t fault the performance but it didn’t stand out. Ben Price; Really strong vocals. Very strong performer.

Libby Alice; Annie Nightingale; Kate Moss lookalike. Would make it as a model if not an artist. Shola Ama; Her tuning was off. Sweet girl though. Pete Cunnah; You look amazing but your voice was a little flat/sharp in places. Wonderful! Michael King; Ability matches her looks. E Plus; I liked the way she worked the stage, but the vocals were lacking a little.

Beki Robinson; Annie Nightingale; Nice outfit. A little too heavy and full of angst. Shola Ama; A whole lot better when she did the Beyonce song. Pete Cunnah; Astonishing voice! Michael King; Good artist. E Plus; Love her tone. Would have liked her to show off her voice more. It was not a dynamic vocal performance. Ben Price; Love the image. Really nice keys performance. Very engaging.

Sophie Mendoza; Annie Nightingale; Big voice and hair. Could develop. Shola Ama; Great vocals, great vibe, good look. Pete Cunnah; Big diva approach, you really owned it. Ace!            Michael King; Love her. E Plus; She’s good to go! Love the 2ndtrack. Would like to see her with a live band. Semper Azeez Harris; She has star quality and can perform. Ben Price;Great voice, really well performed.

Jake McGarry; Annie Nightingale; Two folk blokes with guitars. Look like buskers but nothing wrong with that. Shola Ama; A bit Hanson meets the Disney Channel. Talented though with good crowd participation. Pete Cunnah; Nuts! Extremely entertaining and leftfield. Great! Michael King; Different but cool. E Plus; Really liked the changes in the 2ndsong and the audience interaction. Ben Price;A lively acoustic is nice to see. Well done for carrying on with a broken string a really professional performance.

John Irvine; Annie Nightingale; Back to the Jose Feliciano style. I’ve heard so much of this. A little nasal also. Shola Ama; Great vocals. Pete Cunnah; Great stuff! Preferred your first song. Unique voice. Michael King; Quite good but no star quality. E Plus; Really liked the twang in his voice but the performance was a bit plain. Ben Price; Love this guy well done for making it engaging and fun to watch. Silky voice.

Sham; Annie Nightingale; Some rapper! Shola Ama; Good effort with the dancers. Good show, enjoyed it very much. Pete Cunnah; Awesome! Stars all around. It’s all there. Michael King; Enjoyable!! E Plus; Very current. Ben Price; Good energy. Nice image and love the song. Dancers really brought something to the performance. Precision and timing, beats and rhyming.

Stephanie Jackson; Annie Nightingale; Another Adelelica. Great look. Shola Ama; Tuning was off. Pete Cunnah; Great tone and look but I think Adele was too big for you. Chris Grayston; Vocals needed to be on point but frequently suffered with pitch. E Plus;       Should have made the song your own it was a bit of a straight cover. Ben Price; Be careful your stage performance doesn’t affect your vocals and breathing.

Rosie Shann; Annie Nightingale; Good interpretation of Example cover. Shola Ama; Didn’t have enough oomph for me. Pete Cunnah; Star quality but would be better in a girl band. A bit pitchy today, sorry. Chris Grayston; Very contrasting songs not sure they made it clear what you stand for as an artist. E Plus; Love the rendition, sounded like a totally different song. The image didn’t marry with the 2ndsong. Ben Price;Liked the cover arrangement but the key went wrong towards the end. Great energetic 2ndsong. Good use of stage.

Lulabelle; Shola Ama; Very cute and sweet vibe. Wrong song though. Pete Cunnah; Your voice has tone, timing could be tighter though and a little pitchy today. Cool! Michael King; Could be good with work. Chris Grayston; So charismatic but towards the end was let down by pushing the vocal too much. E Plus; She didn’t bring any confidence and thus it felt flat. Would have liked her to give me because she can sing. Ben Price; Quirky and original but needs some work on vocals. Like the act and good song choices.

Michael King; Gone missing! Chris Grayston; Not sure going in the crowd always works. E Plus; Confidence and swagger but where did you go? In a talent competition you stay where the judges can see you. Ben Price; Another strong urban act. Might have benefitted from some dancers.

La Voix; Annie Nightingale; Classic girl trio. If they had the right song they could go a long way. Great harmonies. Shola Ama; Nice harmonies like Wilson Phillips.
