Singing Auditions
Audition dates will be announced soon so whether you are a singer or rapper and have the talent, apply now for Open Mic UK 2012. If successful, you will be invited to perform a live audition at some of the most prestigious music venues throughout the UK. Enter Open Mic 2012 now.
You’ll be auditioning for a place in the Open Mic regional finals showcase which will be on the main stage at the best venue in your region. The regional final will also include a special guest performance and will feature the best unsigned acts from your region. You will be showcasing your music to Judges from National Radio, BBC Introducing, Regional Press & record labels as well as the general public.

Talent Audition
Audition places are limited, so be quick not sorry! Registering well in advance will secure your talent audition and avoid disappointment. For an application to enter go to the Enter the singing competition now to secure your audition.
On the day of the audition you will be asked to prepare a performance of up to 2 minutes maximum in front of the professional Judging panel thus allowing live talent and ability to be judged appropriately. The audition can be a song of your choice in any style or genre and can be a cover or an original. You will be required to sing accapella if performing a cover. Those with original material may use a backing track or guitar/keyboard (not supplied) to accompany them whether played by themselves or by a backing musician.

The successful competitors from the auditions will be asked back to perform and compete live in the Regional Finals in front of a capacity audience and judging panel. The Live shows take place in the same town or City as auditions with acts competing for a place in the Open Mic UK National Final.
