Georgina Mason – Lovely mature vocal but to improve you need to be creative with songs to make them your own, click here for tips on performing a creative cover

Pedro Silva - After a shaky start you found your stride demonstrating a good vocal. Whether good or bad you can hear your accent which isn’t always desirable. Consider selecting a less popular song otherwise run the risk of someone else doing the same song, also you are also going to struggle to compete with the original artist unless you really make it different which you didn’t. Click here for the importance of song choice.

Derek Gilbert – Nice song but look to engage more with your audience and also look to improve your vocal projection to be even better.

Big Dreamz – A voice like honey! Very cool performance, smooth and polished. Easy to imagine that with the right production this song could be on the radio in no time.

Matthew Long- Certainly looked the part with good vocal projection, however would consider making the song your own as little too karaoke at the moment. Click here to find out more about performing a creative cover.

Keshia – Warm and upbeat style. Liked the guitar backing, good catchy song which you performed well.

Daniel Knight – Excellent vocal range. Well performed but as an acoustic guitarist you will be judged on your own songs or on your ability to make covers creative. Click here to find out more about performing a creative cover.

Alan Porter- Unfortunately your nerves affected the performance slightly. Look to work with a singing teacher to improve your tuning, projection and control.

Emma Sumner – You sang a jolly song but it wasn’t performed in the same way, so look to improve expression and performance.

Lee Carnall – Great flow and good rhythm. Brave to do freestyle, need to theme the lyrics and have a hook line, click here for tips on writing your own songs

Chelsey McNeil - Good vocal projection, however would consider making the song your own as little too karaoke at the moment. Click here to find out more about performing a creative cover

Nick Clarke – Lovely tone, but consider selecting a less popular song otherwise run the risk of someone else doing the same song, as in the audition, also you are also going to struggle to compete with the original artist unless you really make it different which you didn’t. Click here for the importance of song choice.

Gigi Song - Don’t forget to work on the performance and use your arms to express yourself better in particular, certainly want to not just have them behind your back as you did at the start, then you did and they were a little uncontrollable.

Animal – Good song with potential but perhaps needs a modern lick or twist of the image in particular.

Birmingham auditions for singers – 21 and Over feedback continued

Stacey Lavener – Very contemporary pop voice. Good projection and liked you made the song your own. Try and engage with your audience with better eye contact.

Faye Bagley– Powerful protest pop! Loved the song and the melody. Great potential!

Dewi Jones – Strong vocal delivered from the heart. Try to find yourself an image as a singer, click here for some tips on image

James Scarlett – Very original. Catchy song, perhaps work the dynamics to help strengthen the chorus.

Jordon Adams - Lovely tone and projection to your vocal but unsure what the song choice or performance showed us of you as an artist. Think originality.

Alison Atkins-Green- An operatic voice. Good vocal, perhaps consider an image appropriate to your song choice and personality click here for assistance and ideas on image.

Anne Lynn Gillon - An operatic voice. Good vocal, perhaps consider an image appropriate to your song choice and personality click here for assistance and ideas on image.

Emma Swindells – Catchy and upbeat! Liked the original song but better dynamics will drive through the chorus and hook line.

Rebecca Purchase -  Lovely tone, but consider selecting a less popular song otherwise run the risk of someone else doing the same song, also you are also going to struggle to compete with the original artist of the song unless you really make it really different which you didn’t. Click here for the importance of song choice.

Stanley Gadagah – Great dynamics to drive the song on and make it different, but be aware as an acoustic guitarist you will be judged and potential signed on the strength of your own songs. Click here for tips on how to write songs

Jade Cowling - Liked the song but better dynamics will drive through the chorus and hook line. Alter the timing, projection to bring it alive! Try to open your eyes throughout the performance as you’re not interacting with the audience when they’re closed.

Laviniah Karanja - Nice rasp to your vocal but look to improve your projection, especially at the start.

Ali Gilbert - Consider an image appropriate to your song choice and personality click here for assistance and ideas on image. Also select a less popular song otherwise run the risk of someone else doing the same song, also you are also going to struggle to compete with the original artist of the song unless you really make it really different which you didn’t. Click here for the importance of song choice.

Marisa Lyons – Dusky voice and soulful delivery. Lovely song choice and well performed but as an acoustic guitarist you will be judged on your own songs or on your ability to make covers creative. Click here to find out more about performing a creative cover
