Anita & Eniola – Unfortunately you had the worst possible start. You need to make sure you practice more as the bad start affected the performance and you have potential and really grew in confidence throughout the piece. Start the way you finished! Performance-wise engage more with each other and try to keep it simple – I think you tried to mash up too many songs and it got confusing. A good vocal coach will be able to help you with your tuning and harmonies to make you even better. Click here for advice on the importance of singing lessons.

Rhea Harding – Remember to keep your composure. You were rushing ahead and therefore got out of time. Improving your mic technique is something to work on – click here for advice on improving your microphone technique. Also try and improve your performance aspects - you were very static. Click here for advice on stage performance. The potential is there but you have to really work hard to improve and develop in these areas.

Stacey B – A great polished performance. A well-worked and rehearsed routine. Stacey needs to get involved more with the dancers now as vocally she is strong. Using more of your facial expressions will involve you more in the performance as well as a few moves. Click here for advice on stage performance and click here for advice on using facial expressions whilst performing.

Oliver Payne – A great all round musician. Great guitar skills. There’s good potential here but look to gain as much performance experience as much as you can so you start to learn stage and performance dynamics. Click here for advice on stage performance. Performing with the guitar makes for a different type of performance – it’s even more important to use your facial expressions to convey the emotion of the song to the max. Natalie Shay (our guest act) is a great example of performing with the guitar without leaving too far from the spot. Click here for advice on using facial expressions whilst performing.

Ksenia Blake – Great performer – you had a really commitment to the song. Lovely stage presence. You’re good vocally but you picked a song we’ve heard hundred times, and it’s difficult to be better than the original and stand out. Click here for advice on the importance of song choice. `Performance-wise, look to use the stage more. Click here for advice on stage performance. Making better use of dynamics will really drive and emphasise the chorus to its best. Click here for advice on dynamics. A good vocal coach will be able to help you with projection and dynamics to be even better. Click here for advice on the importance of singing lessons.

Jamie-Lee – A strong, confident and emotional performance. Good tone and projection to your vocal but you need to learn to control it better, although it did improve as the performance went on. Click here for tips on achieving better vocal projection. Look for more performance experience to develop your vocal dynamics and mic control to be even better. Click here for advice on improving your microphone technique.

Sam Bushell – A strong confident performance. A real crowd pleaser. Dynamics were decent but you can, with the help of projection and performance, make sure they are delivered with real engagement and purpose. Click here for advice on dynamics. Watch the high notes – reach higher! Great vocal tone.

Sonia Sagoo – Great vocal. You are focusing too much on just singing when there is so much more you need to deliver. Your performance skills and engagement with the audience is lacking. Gain more performance experience and start to introduce these aspects into all your performances. Click here for advice on stage performance. Try and connect emotionally with the song as you need to push yourself to the next level now as you have the ability. Click here for advice on using facial expressions whilst performing.

Niamh – Great vocal tone. Don’t forget to get close to that mic and work the mic control as if you don’t you lose a lot of projection which is a key tool for a singer. Click here for tips on achieving better vocal projection. Loss of projection then means losing clarity so find a good vocal coach to assist you to be even better. Reflect your bubbly personality in your performance! Click here for advice on stage performance.

Danielle Davis – A shaky start where it seemed the tempo was too slow, but you have a belting vocal and you made the song your own. The performance got better as it went on. Projection and dynamics were excellent! Try and engage as much as you can with your audience. Click here for advice on stage performance and click here for advice on using facial expressions whilst performing.

Molli Murphy – Great image. Nice arrangement of the song. Nicely sung but think about bringing the performance to life a bit more now - working the dynamics more and adding performance elements can keep the interest going throughout. Click here for advice on dynamics and click here for advice on stage performance. Vocally just make sure you keep control and don’t force it.

Laura Louise – You have bags of character in your vocal and your delivery was good. Performance-wise you didn’t offer enough and were very routed and static. Don’t be frightened to use your hands. Click here for advice on stage performance. You went a little flat on the top notes so watch out for that. Have confidence in your own style, as you have a nice, unique style!

Morgan – You are a great musician. Have confidence with your musical ability and show that in your performance! Click here for advice on stage performance. Good song choice. Nice tone but your projection was weak and this was not helped by being half a foot from the mic. Click here for tips on achieving better vocal projection.

Jordan – A great stage presence! Great vocal too.  You picked a massive song choice which you did well with, but you failed to stamp any authority over it or make it your own. Click here for advice on the importance of song choice. It’s a song choice you need to fully commit to, both performance-wise and emotionally. Click here for advice on stage performance.

RebeccaB – You’re fantastic for your age and are doing so well. You have a lovely stage presence and know how to capture your audience. Keep gaining performance experience and learn to add more dynamics to the performance - click here for advice on dynamics. It’s a very tricky song to sing and you got a little lost in the chorus.  You really showed off your vocal much better on the breakdown and more mellow second section.

Freya Wilson – Song choice is everything and you’d be best picking a song that really suits the nicer tone in your vocal range. Click here for advice on the importance of song choice. You were forcing your vocal for large parts of the song which didn’t show off your talent to your full potential. Great commitment to the song.

Musty – Lovely all-round performer. A very polished, natural performance and a good amount of confidence.  It’s nice to see you’re making the song your own and the rap was good but initially when it came in it felt like it was bolted unnaturally into the middle.

Imy Stratton – A great performance for the most part - vocally you’re strong, but you were not always in control and the song choice felt like it was uncomfortable for you at times. Click here for advice on the importance of song choice. Would like to hear a song that allows you to ‘sing’ more. Glad you took the mic off the stand –you know how to work a stage.

Alice – Lovely vocal but the song choice is dated and popular – it felt almost like a practice song that singing teachers give pupils rather than one that can show you off as an individual. Click here for advice on the importance of song choice. You have a really captivating voice. Have confidence in that. Great vocal control.

Josh – You really know how to work a crowd! You were really committed to what you were doing. The song felt a little hard to follow at times. The key to songwriting is to write them in a key that best shows off the nicer tone in your vocal range – and I'm not totally convinced it was today. The change up is good but does come quite late in the track. Stage presence and performance continues to improve.
