Eva McKenzie – Remember to perform throughout. It seemed a little awkward with the long intro and hands behind your back. You chose a song to perform to, so you need to perform, click here for tips on performing visually. Try to relax as much as you can, it’ll help your vocal.

Rebecca Michael – You have a good vocal. Express more and focus on performing, click here for tips on performing visually. Eye contact please! Take your hands out of your pockets, it’s distracting.

Callan Foulser – Good sound. Remember to look up and engage more with your audience. Also look to perform more, you were very rooted to the spot, click here for advice on stage performance.

Skye Cairns – It’s good to see you writing your own song. Try and express the emotion of the song more so we can connect even more, click here for advice on singing with emotion.  Good projection.

Aspen – Strong vocal and good range. Keep focused. It comes across a bit unplanned which is cool. Good to see you with guitar works much better for you.

Stella Quaresma – Nice tone. This is such a difficult song to sing, and on this occasion it doesn’t feel like the right one for you, click here for the importance of song choice. It’s important to take these well-known songs and make them your own, click here for tips on how to make a song your own.

Ellie Davis – Great to see you do a mash up. Don’t lose that smile! Take care with your control and tuning. Your vocal needs tightening a little, nothing a vocal coach wouldn’t be able to help you with, click here for the benefits of singing lessons.

Lucianna Kaye – Strong guitar work. To improve, film yourself performing and work on improving your facial expression, click here for tips on facial expression. Work on your dynamics to make the performance more engaging, click here for advice on dynamics.

Rory Ryan – Nice tone to your vocal. Song choice was a good one but you need to project that chorus more, click here for tips on improving projection. Don’t rush the song. Your dynamics could be improved, click here for advice on dynamics.

Kalen Warne – Nice that you’re doing your own song and some great lyrics. Be sure to think about dynamics to ‘let the song breathe’, as it became a little exhausting, click here for advice on dynamics.

Sennen Pope – Liked that you performed and made the song your own, it showed originality. Think we might have a star of the future here.

Carmen – Good vocally but try to focus on your eye contact and try to perform more, click here for tips on performing visually.

Libby Harrogate – Need to tidy up your guitar work. You’re looking down at it so much; you need to practise to get this up to the next level. Vocally you are strong.

Bethany Lee – The potential is there but to improve look to work on projection which a good vocal coach will be able to assist you on to be even better. Click here for the benefits of singing lessons and click here for tips on improving projection.

Sarah and Daisy – Smooth, lovely tone. Well-rehearsed song and some balanced harmonies. Good expressions as well, click here for tips on facial expression.

Jade Collins – Nerves took over the performance. More performance will build confidence; click here for tips on building confidence.

Exeter musicians wanted – feedback continued

Ellie – Vocally good, but you need to focus more. Never stop, just keep going, it just highlights error. Work on your dynamics to improve your performance, click here for advice on dynamics.

India Sanderson – Potential in your vocals. You need to perform as you were very static and wooden throughout, click here for tips on performing visually. Also think about how to make the cover your own, click here for tips on performing a creative cover.

Aisha Kigwalilo – Powerful voice. Good vocals and projection. Don’t be afraid to use your hands to express and perform more; click here for tips on performing visually.

Daisy Wedgebrow – Strong vocal. It’s all there, just need to be a bit more natural with your performance and expression. More performance will build this confidence, click here for open mic night information.

Anastasia – Nice tone but you need to work on your projection to be even better, click here for tips on improving projection. Also look to engage with your audience, click here for tips on performing visually.

Georgia Fenwick – Good song and good connection emotional to it which you expressed well. Try and control those nerves as they are creeping in, click here for tips on building confidence.  Good image and presentation.

Skye Phillips – Good song choice. Better dynamics would give the chorus more emphasis, click here for advice on dynamics. More performance will improve your delivery timing, click here for tips on building confidence on stage.

Lili Cooper – Vocally good but the song choice is a little dated and overly popular. The problem with this is that it makes it difficult to stand out from the crowd, click here for the importance of song choice.

Abbie Down – Song choice is everything, trying to do the same as the original is always going to be tough, click here for the importance of song choice and also click here for tips on performing a creative cover. When performing never stop to make excuses, it just highlights the error.

Sasha Bamforth – Crazy good performance. Nice rasp and character to your vocal. Try and work on your projection to be even better, click here for tips on improving projection.

Esme Berry – Sweet voice. Potential is there, you just need to perform more to build up your confidence, click here for tips on building confidence on stage.

Talitha – Good delivery. Nice tone and diction. A little classical for pop in the delivery, so take care to adapt to the song. You are hanging on the notes a little too long.

Reggie – Beautiful dusky voice. Lots of character in your vocals. Look to work on the performance to be even better, click here for tips on performing on stage.

Gabby Dawson – The song choice wasn’t right, don’t pick such a popular song as it means you have to work even harder to make yourself stand out from everyone else singing it, click here for the importance of song choice. Also your nerves took over the performance and affected your tuning.

Becky Holmes – Surprising voice, in a good way. Good projection, take care not to force the vocal and lose control, click here for tips on improving projection.

Lucy Blackler – Strong vocally, always make sure you warm up fully to show your vocals off at their best, click here for tips on warming up your vocal.

Yazzy – Great control and a fantastic audition. Beautiful. Lost in the performance.
