Feedback for Glasgow Singing Auditions
Cameron Boyes – Very talented and you put on a very good performance, try not to look down at the guitar as much but you maintained eye contact with the judges very well. Click here for more tips on eye contact, but you seemed very confident and it looks as though you enjoy singing a lot.
Phoebe Robinson – Good performance and liked the emotion you put into your vocals, try to maintain eye contact as much as possible with the judges; for more information on eye contact click here. You came across a little nervous, try practicing on calming yourself before a performance and click here to get tips on dealing with nerves. Good harmonies, great big finish!
Hayleigh Harper – Lovely emotional performance, which you performed very well with a great song choice! To find some more advice on how important song choices are for your performance click here. Very pleasant voice that simply captivates, loved it!
Zoe – Great original song that tells a story, very enjoyable with good rhythm, you just need to project your vocals as they are a little to soft in places; click here and give vocal projection a read. The guitar worked well with the song, which made for an interesting duo!
Chelsea MacDonald – Started off very nervous, but improved a lot as the song went on. Click here for tips on dealing with nerves on stage. Sarah – Great original song, with lovely vocals! Try and not let the guitar be a distraction, practice multitasking by playing and singing while looking at the judges; this will improve your performance a lot, if you want some more tips on eye contact click the link and give it a read. Axel Jack – Your performance was dramatic and powerful, great control in your vocals but could feel your were nervous, click here to find out more about dealing with nerves. Ava Grams – Well-constructed song, built well but the vocals were a little too quiet. Click the link for more information and tips on vocal projection. The backing track added a nice vocal effect; overall did a great job, just need a bit of work and practice.
Carli Trotter – Amazing voice! Lovely depth to your vocals, you put a lot of emotion into your performance, click here to read and find out more about why emotional connection to a performance is important. Great amount of confidence and really nice song choice brought out the tones in your voice.
Johnny Brown – Nice performance with lots of energy, unusual tone in your voice that gave the song a good feel! Great singing and guitar skills with lots of power in your vocals. Keep up the good work and click here for any tips on guitar dynamics.
Music Industry Feedback - Glasgow Singing Auditions
Harry Bodley-Scott – Very talented with lovely tones to your vocals! Song was great it worked well with the guitar, very harmonious! Started slow but improved massively as the song went on, keep practicing and click here to get tips on stage presence.
Hannah Pinner – Good vocal control and range. Your voice is lovely and refreshing; and enjoyable to listen to. Maybe work on putting a little more emotion into your performance, click here for advice on how to sing with emotion.
Kyra Lamont – You seemed to start off a little flat. An upbeat song may suit your voice better, click here for tips on song choices. However the performance was overall enjoyable, with a pleasant voice.
Darrell Cram – Great song choice, a big song to choose and you certainly put your stamp on it! Great vocals and a very confident, enjoyable performance. Fantastic. Click here for more tips on stage presence.
Nicky – A lovely vocal. Your original song was very good with a great sense of emotion, it truly felt as if you meant every word. Very confident performance with a cracking vocal. Captivating! Click here for more tips on songwriting.
Robyn Taylor– Vocals were average and at times felt a little old fashioned, like a club singer. However a great song choice which worked well with your vocals. Your performance and rhythm was great, click here for more tips on singing on stage.
Eleanor Hamilton-Reid – A good rhythmic, country vibe. Your vocals soared over the guitar nicely. The song made me feel happy. An awesome singer songwriter, a truly great singer/songwriter. Click here for more advice on songwriting.
Nader Pirouzkia – The vocals were very soft, you needed more projection – especially for the chorus. We struggled to hear you vocally and was not quite sure where you were heading with the song. Click here for more tips on vocal projection and building stage confidence.
Billy M Jack – There was plenty of energy and rhythm in your performance. A truly enjoyable performance. Great guitar playing, a strong voice complimenting it well; however some points the lyrics were a little indistinct, click here for tips on vocal projection.
