Jayne Stonehold – Nice vocals but the song choice was very popular and dated, so click here for our advice on song choice.
Charlotte White - Nice vocals but the song choice was very popular and dated, so click here for our advice on song choice. Try and get into the song more. There was no passion today. Click here for advice on how to sing with emotion and click here for advice on stage performance.
Lewis Dellar – Strong vocally – loved the raspy growl and you had some lovely low notes. Remember to be creative to make the song your own. Click here for some tips on performing a creative cover.
Simone Sheppard – Super vocals, but slow down and don’t over-complicate the trills. Loved the swagger and attitude.
RyteSize – Great duo. Loved the original twist. Good performance together as an act. Work hard and bring a polished act for the live shows!
Nigel Chambers – You need to practice really hard to learn the all the lyrics and work with a vocal coach to improve your tone and tuning. Click here to see the benefits of singing lessons.
Tanya Kaloyirou – Beautiful tone! Work out the volume. You got better towards the end. Never stop Tanya as you highlighted the error yet were doing so well!
Lorna Dzimbak – Your song has potential! You were fun, sweet and original. Now work on bringing an image to the shows and work on your performance. Click here for advice on stage performance.
Jeska Pike – Song choice is so important and the song was too big for you which was noticeable on the high notes. Click here for our advice on song choice.
Andy Goddard – Great original, there’s potential in this song. Make use of dynamics to help drive through the song’s hook. Try and show us more versatility in your vocals.
Lauren Pantry – Lovely husky vocals. The potential is there, but make sure you don’t force the vocal and lose control. You seemed a little nervous, but got much better towards the end.
Natasha Dowding – It was a good audition but now you need to think about being creative with the cover and making it your own. Song choice is everything. Click here for our advice on song choice and click here for some tips on performing a creative cover.
Linda St-Claire – Vocally you’re really solid and have great old school classic vocals. However the song choice was dated and there was no modern twist on the performance or enough vocally to show the potential to do anything more than dated covers. Click here for some tips on performing a creative cover.
Hauwa Babagai - Need to practice more so you don’t forget the words. Try a less difficult song to sing. Adele is hard to follow.
Christopher Bevan – Great audience interaction. Fantastic to hear that you’ve only just learnt to play but the key work needs a little more practice to get to the right level. Great to see you perform your own song. More performance experience will build the confidence.
Milton Keynes singing auditions 21 and Over feedback continued
Doug Heath – Best guitar player so far. Great skills. The song was really engaging - I really felt your emotional connection to the song. Take care not to force the vocal at the sacrifice of losing the control.
Sally Crosby – Good lyrics. Try and make the transitions in the song link better as currently they don’t flow as well as they could. Also look to engage with your audience. Click here for advice on stage performance.
JKTM – Vocally you sound great. Think you need to work on performing together as an act and synchronising your image. Click here for advice on synchronising your act image. Love your own little twist on the cover.
Tony Hill – So glad you did your original. Make sure you have the confidence to always do that as your first song. The song has real potential. Love the gritty tone to your voice. Smooth guitar playing added to the enjoyment with the exception of the odd bum notes.
Lara Wyles – Must perform from the start. During the long introduction you gave us nothing. Song has potential but I was hoping for a build. Click here for advice on stage performance.
Alicia Martin – Your song flows well but your diction isn’t so clear. Click here to see ways to improve your diction. You must warm up to demonstrate your best. Click here for our tips for warming up the vocals.
Indiana Lea – There was a poor connection between the performers. The guitarist needs to look up to engage the audience and a bit of engagement between you would have helped. Think about your performance as the potential is there.
Paul Adams – Vocally good but you didn’t demonstrate any originality. Click here for some tips on performing a creative cover. Great presentation. Thought you could’ve given us more though.
Nicole Scott – Good song choice but really try and make it unique and your own. Click here for some tips on performing a creative cover. Great image.
Tori V – A good vocal coach will be able to help you improve your projection and tone. Click here to see the benefits of singing lessons.
Jeannette – You seem to hang on the notes too long which potentially stops you attacking the next words.
Phyllis – Vocally it was nice but it needed something different or original to stand out. Click here for some tips on performing a creative cover.
Charmaine White – Good vocally but the song choice was a very popular one. Click here for our advice on song choice.
Sean Furey – You could have projected the emotion of the song a little bit better. Click here for advice on how to sing with emotion and click here for advice on stage performance. Look to bring more dynamics to the song as the sentiment in the song is good.
Thelma – Such a tough song and artist to cover and it wasn’t different enough or as strong as the original artist. click here for the importance of song choice. Click here for our advice on song choice.
Sara Ashley – Lovely tone to your vocal and good sentiment to the song.
Griffin & Perry – Performed well together. Would have liked to have heard an original - as an acoustic act you will be judged mainly on the strength of your songs. You could have worked the dynamics stronger on the hooks especially seeing as there is two of you.
Samuel O’Malley – Liked you made the song your own – you showed originality.
El Sadie Smith – Good mash up which showed a creative edge. Better dynamics and pace would have made it even better. Try to feel the emotion of the song. You need to get into it more. Click here for advice on how to sing with emotion and click here for advice on stage performance.
The Shures – Smashed it! Best group so far. Great version of Rihanna. Outstanding soulful vocals and harmonies. Interact with one another.
