Tyler Saxton – Lovely voice. Try to keep performance energy going throughout. Don’t rush.
Rebecca Yau – Interesting song – nice vocal tone – watch your pitch. Don’t strain on the top tones.
Lucy Smith – Great song choice. Good stage presence. Guitar work needs a little more attention, but it was nice to see an audition with so much character.
Emily Gent – Nice performance. Good presence. Watch that you don’t allow the voice to be under supported and subsequently ‘breathy’.
Amelia Wayne – Nice voice. You recovered well from the issue in the middle of your song. Not sure it was the right song choice for you; click here for the importance of song choice.
Violet – Huge voice! Watch your posture; you don’t want to push it forward too much.
Livy Neave – Good performance. Was difficult to gage your voice until the chorus, try to get the best aspects of your voice out at the beginning as they’re the precious moments.
Chloe Wood – Would have liked to hear another song, click here for information on song choice. You would benefit from some lessons for your instrument to enhance your performance.
Lucy Griffith – It didn’t seem like you’d practised? Make sure you know what you’re going to do at your audition. Preparation is key for a performance.
Amanda Danisa – Lovely voice. Shame about the forgotten lyrics, make sure to practise enough that the lyrics come to you with little effort.
Paige Bramble – Your voice seemed very tense. It’d be nice to see you work on your diction, click here for tips on improving your diction. The vibrato was a bit hit and miss.
Mark Howard – Lovely tone. Great confidence. Watch your breathing to avoid breath in words.
Lucy Davis-Kumadiro – Interesting tone. You have a lovely stage presence.
Jodi Greensmith – You seemed very nervous. Not sure the song choice was right for your performance; click here for more information on song choice. There’s real potential here.
Vision – Love the harmonies. Worked well together and well-rehearsed. Very entertaining to watch, one of the best auditions today.
Michaela Pearson – Be careful that the key you choose isn’t too high for you. Would be interesting to hear you song with a difficult style song, click here for the importance of song choice.
Jess & Rob – Entertaining performance. Love the harmonies. You’re very talented; make sure you reflect that in your confidence.
Phoebe Pritchett – Make sure you think about every note. Don’t let the ukulele overpower you as a singer. Was a nice performance.
Remy Simpson – Try to avoid sounding like you’re mimicking a voice, and make the song your own, click here for tips on how to perform a creative cover.
Frankie Suffell – There’s a lot of potential here, a vocal coach might be able to pull this out of you. Click here for the benefits of singing lessons.
Isabel Ramirez – Lovely voice. Make sure you stay confident throughout your performance, click here for tips on building confidence.
Nottingham singers wanted – feedback continued
Gina Atkins – Interesting tone. It was good to hear your own material, might be even better if you slowed it down slightly? Make sure your confidence is there from the off, rather than growing half way through your performance.
Sarah Musgrove – Not sure this was the right song choice for you, click here for more information on song choice. It’d have been nice to see more colour in the performance.
Nicole Bull – Musical theatre would be perfect for you.
Ash and Connor – Good connection between you two. Not sure the arrangement was the best, could do with some tweaking.
Eve Mason – Enjoyed your performance. Make sure you’re fully warmed up before you perform, click here for tips on warming up your vocal.
Bonnie Auty – Try not to put your hands in your pockets when you’re performing and it looks like you’re not too bothered about the performance. You got stronger as you went on, don’t let the nerves effect you.
Zoe May – Nice ‘folky’ voice. Need a bit more connection to the song to make it believable.
Hannah Spencer-Saunders – You looked so nervous. Be confident with the voice that you have, click here for tips on building vocal confidence.
Samuel Gosrani – Lovely tone. Liked how you adapted the song and made it your own, click here for some more tips on creative covers.
George Harris – You gave a very likeable performance. You remind me of Ed Sheeran?
Shannon Sidoli – The audition was rushed and very quiet, you need to build your confidence up. A vocal coach will be able to help you develop your vocal, click here to see how singing lessons can help.
Lauren April – Didn’t like your version of this song, it didn’t seem to suit your voice. Click here for more information on song choice.
Sam Pelham –Be careful with your tone so it doesn’t sound too nasally, this is something a vocal coach will be able to assist with. Click here to see the benefits of singing lessons.
Fallon Haylett – You’ve got a good voice. Very similar sound to Amy Winehouse. It would have been great to see a little more performance, click here for tips on stage performance.
Anne Trong - Nice performance energy and a sweet vocal tone. You could see the connection you had with the song. Careful of that high note!
Sam Colley – Great song choice. Lovely voice, try not to push it too hard. The performance would improve if you were stood with your guitar rather than sat.
Ava Khera – It was a struggle to hear you, work on your projection when going forward. This wasn’t the right song for you; click here for advice on song choice.
Aaron Jeffrey – Careful not to over stylise your vocal. Your breath control was a little messy; something a vocal coach will be able to help you with.
Jordan Martinez – Great voice and good dynamics. Don’t forget to look at us!
Molly Hindley – Lovely voice and good guitar playing. Try to avoid too many trills in your performance, it’s slightly off putting.
Lusungu Mwandza – Your voice sounded a little pitchy. Not sure this song showed off the best of your vocal, click here for tips on song choice.
Trimaine Bailey – Lovely vocal tone. Nice to hear a rap that’s performed well. Your breath control is superb.
