Kiera Beckett – Great to see you writing your own material, work on your projection and engagement so we can connect even better with you. Nice song.

Mukahang – Remember to perform; don’t be frightened to use those hands. Vocally there were a few pitching issues you need to address to go forward.

Barna – Think song choice it is a very big song to sing under pressure. Click here for the importance of song choice.

Louisa May – Lovely tone, just work on the control rather than let the song run away from you. Better expression will convey the emotion in the song, click here for tips on singing with facial expression.

Victoria Sayers – Great guitar playing. Clear diction, good projection and engagement for an overall impressive audition.

Kitan Tinker – Confident vocals. Vocally solid and good diction. Work on expression to bring the emotion of the song alive even more, click here for tips on singing with facial expression.

Meghna Nar – Remember to warm up fully to demonstrate your vocal to its best potential, click here for advice on warming up your vocals.

Lauren Baker – Vocally very strong! Although it was a unique performance, you need to think about your song choice if you want to be more original, click here for the importance of song choice.

Lauren Carter – Really good choice of cover, click here for tips to do a creative cover as you have lots of potential top demonstrate more. Be careful not to sing songs by artists who sound similar to you as you risk imitating them, click here for the importance of song choice.

Immy Brighty-Potts – Don’t be frightened to film yourself and look in particular at your expression and performance as this is where you could improve to be even better. You could benefit from vocal lessons to work on your control and breathing, click here for the importance of singing lessons.

Elena Cosby – You gave me goose bumps. Vocally solid try to sharpen up your notes as you are over hanging on them and sustaining them too long. Also watch your breathing which a good vocal coach could assist you with, click here for the importance of singing lessons.

Tegan Chadwick – Better dynamics would have giving the performance more life. Try to think more about your song choice, wasn’t sure you’d picked the right song for your vocal; click here for the importance of song choice.

Valine & Salline – Warm tone, blended well. Think about working on the harmonies to be more contrasting as you have the ability.

Shreya – Picking an Adele song is always going to leave you up against it as she is so popular and good. It’s wise to consider not picking an obvious song choice to avoid trying to compete with the original so much, click here for the importance of song choice.

Carla –Strong voice but you must warm up every time you sing, click here on protecting your vocal.

Reading musicians wanted – feedback continued

Mya Boyd – Tuneful, sweet voice. Strong image. Solid audition.

Gemma Hill – Good song choice. Nice tone but the dynamics were very one dimensional and better dynamics will be bring your performance to life.

Jack & Harvey – Good song choice, think of engaging with each other to show a connection as an act. Look into reworking some of those harmonies.

Isobel Jobson – You choose a big song to sing and it’s always difficult to be anything like the original artist. Although you did well, remember to consider the importance of song choice.

Shika Desai – Really clear diction with your vocals, look to work that guitar harder with dynamics to drive the song. Good eye contact and engagement.

Sophie Atkinson – Lovely smiley performance and good use of your hands and expression. Better vocal dynamics will help emphasis the chorus.

Polly Boyles – Cool image and great to see you writing songs already, the song would benefit from giving the lyrics room and space to breathe to be even better.

Anastasia Titchener – Nice tone but you will have to look to work on your projection as you are very quiet and it’s hard to hear you at times.

Heather Cameron-Hayes – Good connection emotionally to the song conveyed. You seem to have a good range be sure to always warm up fully, click here for how to warm up your vocals.

Rosie Fowler – Look to work more on the keys, they need to be confident enough to look up and engage with the audience, they are also slowing the pace of your performance down. Good idea on the mash up and you have a nice tone to your vocal.

Zara Jagroo – Must warm up fully before your performance as you lost control quite a bit even though we can hear the potential there; click here for how to warm up your vocals. Also don’t rush your performance too much, keep your composure.

Jessie Hall – Good projection. Your diction however could do with a little attention, click here for diction tips. Also work on better dynamics to emphasis the lighter side of the song.

Anita Sandhu – Nice tone but a good vocal coach will be able to assist in improving your projection and range, click here for the importance of singing lessons.

Jessica Pinder – You are very good vocally just need to not push the vocal and lose control. Also try to avoid doing that song last year we heard it as often as 3-4 times a show. Click here for the importance of song choice.

Coral Lawrence – Really nice song choice. Good engagement with your audience. Guitar work gave the performance drive.

Reading musicians wanted – feedback continued

Natasha Ali – You must keep your composure; you rushed the start and struggled with your composure. More performance will assist in building your confidence and composure. Try getting a slot at a local open mic night, click here for open mic nights for singers.

Hollie Thubron – Loved your song, a really good audition.

Robbie Owens – Strong vocally going forward, click here on tips on how to do a creative cover.

Phoenix – Nice tone but a very static and emotionless performance wise so look to work on that to develop it. More performance will help build this confidence to perform, click here for stage performance tips.
