Lily Nicholson – Great vocals and good eye contact. Try and make the song your own, click here for tips on performing a creative cover. Look really comfortable on stage. Would have liked to hear you head voice.
Christina Higgins – Practise your microphone technique, click here for tips on microphone techniques. Lovely arrangement of the song. Liked that you made use of the song. Your voice has great range but the tone isn’t very clear, a vocal coach will be able to help you with this, click here for the importance of voice training.
Esme – Original song with an original vocal. Reminded me of Joni Mitchell! Could work more on your performance, show some more emotion, click here for tips on performance. Practise your low notes a little more.
Joe Broomhead – Don’t look so nervous! You really captured the feel of the song. Don’t hesitate on the more powerful notes as you do have the ability to do it. You need to work on connecting to the song so that the expression comes across in the performance, click here for singing with emotion and click here for tips on facial expression.
Hannah Cooke – Use the instrumental to make use of the stage, click here for tips on performance. Good connection to the song and the audience. You’ve got a really original voice, keep it up.
Emily Jones – Don’t let your nerves get the better of you, click here for building stage confidence. Lovely tone to your voice. Well done for the not letting the technical issues effect you.
Lily-Ann – Really individual song. Need to work a little on your guitar skills to avoid being able to hear the plucking from the guitar. Split the judges. Maybe wasn’t the right song for you, click here for the importance of song choice.
Samuel B Pelham – Great fun. When moving about the stage, try to avoid coming across as cheesy. Good variety of tones.
