Leah Sheridan – Liked the backing track to give a live feel and made it different. You need to work that stage more as you were very static, click here for more tips on using that stage. Take care to keep control of the vocal throughout as at times you forced it. Lovely soft tones, but be confident in yourself as you’ve got a lovely voice.

Cali – You're developing into a really individual artist which is fantastic! Liked the different lyrics and the key was great for your vocal and style. Click here for working on getting that killer chorus which is almost there, but work on the dynamics to drive the hook even more. Very individual, well done.

Libby Harrogate – Lovely image. Potential is there but song choice is so important and doing Adele is difficult to both impress and be original, click here for the importance of song choice. Take care to sustain the words throughout as you often drop out on the end of phrases. Finally look to use that stage more click here for more information on using the stage. Remember to perform, not just sing!

Clarisse – You have the ability you just need to work on strengthening up your vocal which a good vocal coach and lots of practice can help you with. You need to use the stage more too, click here for more information on using the stage. Watch your tuning when you belt!

Brandon Lebbie – Instantly striking! Great to see you performing your own song and the more you can write the better! Click here for more tips on songwriting and more importantly on how to try and get that killer chorus. There is potential in the song but a change in lyrics could help it flow better.  You can also work the dynamics to give a better delivery to the chorus.

Georgia Cudby – A very dedicated performance. Good passion in the performance. I'm sure you are aware but you have a classical twang to your vocal which if you use deliberately is fine, but if not try and practice to thin it out. Song choice is so important and it’s a big song to sing under pressure and to be in total control of, click here for the importance of song choice.

Freya Morris – Lots of potential in the song and you had the right idea with the dynamics to lift the chorus. Look up more to express the song and connect with the audience more, you are looking down too much.

Hanna Doswell – There is potential in the song however it’s a bit too rhymey, you need to get the lyrics twisting and make it a bit more developed. Work that stage more too, click here for tips on using the stage. Keep control vocally throughout as you forced it too much especially at the end.

Fintan – A very confident peformance. Lots of potential here, but it’s a dance number and so you need to perform and dance, you didn’t commit to the performance as you should have. Vocally you have the ability but today lacked the control under pressure; a good vocal coach will be able to assist you to be even better. Click here for the importance of voice training.

Jasin Hollow – Great vocal performance. Like your vocal, it's nice and crisp! Not sure the second guitarist is adding anything to your act though, in fact on this occasion would say it is detrimental to the performance as you aren’t engaging together. Good vocal and image. Diction needs to be a bit more clear as it was hard to hear the words, click here for tips on diction.

Southern England Stage Performance Tips – Feedback

Zoe T – Your performance can come across lacklustre where as you need to portray the emotion in the song. Try filming yourself every time you perform and analyse it to create an exact performance plan.  You need to engage with the audience more to get that connection, click here for tips on engaging the audience. Good to see you using the stage. Strong voice.

Katelin Troy – Great vocal, just take care with your song choice as too often acts pick popular iconic songs which are so difficult to impress or be different with, click here for the importance of song choice. Remember to use that stage too click here for tips on using the stage.

Charlie Woodford – you could be a future start, but becareful not to imitate established artists, try to be original. It would be great to see you performing or making cover songs your own, click here for tips on making a creative cover song. You are performing well, but it is too much of an impression and we need to see more individuality.

Tallulah Tilt – Take care with song choice as too often acts pick popular iconic songs which are so difficult to impress to anywhere near as good as Adele or be different with, so click here for the importance of song choice. Remember to use that stage for more ideas and tips on using the stage click here.

Aisha – Liked that you tried to get the audience on board early, click here for more on audience participation. You have good projection but take care with your breathing as you found it difficult to always sustain the notes and lost control at times.

Yazzy – You have an amazing voice, your tone suited the song beautifully. However song wise it was too simplistic, although you did work your vocal magic to make it interesting throughout, you need to develop the lyrics and dynamics more. Click here for more tips on getting that killer chorus.

Suzanne Poole – Smooth vocals. A well worked vocal, but take care with your timing. You performed throughout and even more so in the instrumental section, which was great! Click here for more advice on performing in instrumental sections

Maisie Peters – Cute performance and good diction. Liked your quirky style, keep going with developing that. Song wise it’s a little crowded lyrically and or in your delivery; slow down a little and then look to really emphasis that chorus. Click here for more on vocal dynamics.

Lily Moram – Great range and powerful voice. A committed performance and with more performance that will become even more natural. Song choice is so difficult and the song you chose was a big one to take on, click here for the importance of song choice.

Anna – Liked the tempo and your vocal control. Going forward look up and express more emotion in your performance, click here for more on facial expression which is so important when you are sat static. Fantastic projection! Soulful voice with a great lower range. An intriguing performance.

Born2Blush – Performance wise you guys are spot on, a well-adapted routine. Vocally the harmonies need to be tighter if you are going to make the next level. You girls really do look like a pop group though!

Georgie Fenwick – Liked the image and good vocal control. You are giving expression but you need to vary it and commit more to it, click here for more on facial expression.

Just Saying – The harmonies were lovely. A ukulele can be really quirky but it can also be very thin sounding and lack the drive some songs require, so would use it selectively going forward. As a duo you also need to connect with each other as an act, click here for tips on vocal groups.

Estelle Valentine – Lots of potential and vocally you are strong, but you need to commit to the performance more and express the emotion in the song, click here for more on facial expression. Remember to use that stage, you didn’t move from the middle at all.

Sennen Pope – Good movement even though you are restricted by the guitar,. Try and work on the facial expressions to convey the emotion in the song and express the lighter, softer side of the song too. Click here for more on facial expressions.
