Cheltenham Ukulele Group is a friendly ukulele and singing group, based in Cheltenham, catering for all levels of playing ability & musical style.

Wooden ukes and banjo ukes (banjoleles) are both welcome at the open jam nights. They meet every Monday at The Exmouth Arms, Cheltenham for a music and singing session.

Their Monday open nights are normally split into 2 sessions. A beginners’ session is first from 7pm to 7:45pm. If you are new to the ukulele then you are invited to arrive at 7pm to learn some basics (strumming and chords).

One of the hottest folk clubs in the county, the night meets on the first Tuesday every month at the White Hart Inn, Winchcombe.

The venue is in the middle of Winchcombe, so just a short drive from Cheltenham. The . nights usually start at around 8pm with an eclectic mix of folk music from musicians of all ages.
