This is the nearest thing to learning to sing with a teacher, one to one. And the reason it works is that you can follow a whole series, which gives you goals and a schedule to keep. But the brilliant part is that it fits completely around your lifestyle and schedule.  

Find a vocal coach online, who covers every aspect of singing, one with their own channel and/or lots of content, so that you can keep going back to that coach day after day, or week after week. It’s also important to find a coach who teaches in a style that fits your genre. Don’t subscribe to an operatic coach, if you want to sing pop for example.  

It’s also about finding someone you like and can relate to, which is a very personal thing. This may mean watching a few videos from different recommended teachers, to work out who you like best.

This is because a large proportion of your tone and power comes from the breath. The breath comes from the diaphragm. Get that in shape pronto and you’ll notice you’re singing better. How to get a good singing voice at home 

There’s plenty you can do from the comfort of your home to become a better singer. It’s also a good time to do the things you might feel silly doing in public. Use your home to help you improve – sing with the back of your body (including your head) pressed against a wall. This will force your body in alignment and give the voice space to ring out.
