A full PA system, amps and drum kit are all provided, all you need to do is bring along your guitar if you play one! This weekly open mic has quite the loyal following who are all big characters who certainly love to support their favourite open jam night. The layout tends to be quite relaxed and by the end of the night, lots of musicians tend to jam together and make new friends.

The Greyhound is a traditional local pub that loves to support local music and musicians. The acoustic gathering takes place every single Thursday and is hosted by a group of talented and dedicated local musicians who are very passionate about what they do.

The Seal is one of Selsey’s best-loved pubs and it is really easy to see why thanks to the delicious food on offer and fantastic atmosphere. The monthly open mic night is hosted by Sedge and Jon, two very talented local musicians.

Basic equipment, PA and mics are provided but you are encouraged to bring along your own instruments and equipment in order to avoid disappointment. Duos, trios and other ensembles are more than welcome but the venue cannot accommodate a full drum kit which is worth bearing in mind.

Each act will get 15 minutes and 3 songs minimum. However, if there is time at the end, some musicians will often perform twice if they are feeling particularly keen! Every performer will also receive a free pint, you can’t go wrong really.
