Vokyl

We just love your swagger on stage Vokyl!

Although you had a very serious message to deliver you brought just the right amount of humour.

Engaging with the audience is very important when performing. It can be from giving eye contact to showing you’re enjoying yourself to using facial expressions to reflect the emotions of the song. You demonstrated this very well! Click here for more on stage performance.

Again you showed very impressive agility in your diction however the singing in the chorus wasn’t as strong so didn’t quite work. Perhaps consider having a backing singer on the chorus to add that extra dynamic to your performance.

The swearing came across as somewhat gratuitous so it would be advisable to i save that for your own gigs rather than the competition, you always have to consider your audience at the different shows you play at. The more you can connect with them the greater the rewards are for you.

Overall another strong and memorable performance and great original. We are looking forward to seeing you in the Grand Final!
