WEST LONDON MUSIC COMPETITION – THE BECK THEATRE
The setting for Middlesex music competition at The Beck Theatre is a 600-seater venue and is operated by HQ Theatres on behalf of London Borough of Hillingdon. An exciting and diverse range of productions ensures there is something for everyone with over 100,000 people enjoying what Middlesex venue The Beck Theatre has to offer each year.
The programme at the Middlesex venue aims to present the finest local, national and international companies and performers who to date include The Hollies, Errol Brown, The Commitments, Chas and Dave, Tony Christie and Billy Fury to name a few.
Middlesex live music venue The Beck Theatre was built in 1977 by Hillingdon Borough Council, with a bequest from Councillor Alfred Beck, hence the name. It was purposely built to be a community-orientated theatre, and is fortunate to be set in a beautiful parkland aspect adjoining Botanical Gardens.
